The Yugen Saxophone Quartet are an upcoming British Quartet with a diverse and captivating repertoire. They use their passion for Chamber music to form an exciting and vibrant ensemble.
Yugen Saxophone Quartet
The Yugen Quartet are an award winning Quartet with creative innovation at the heart of their performances.
They formed in November 2020 and are alumni from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
They are Ewan Wright (Soprano Sax), Nichole Micheli (Alto Sax), Emily Plumb(Tenor Sax) and Alicia Hillman (Baritone Sax).
They have performed at a variety of events and have won competitions including the Silvia Cleaver Prize in 2021 and the Andrew Downes Prize in 2022.
They have released their debut album “Origins” in January 2022 which received high acclaim.
