Stone Farmers Market
Stone Farmers Market is held on the First Saturday of every month (except for January) and is organised and run by Stafford Borough Council.

The Market began in 2005 as part of the Stone Food and Drink Festival and has proved extremely popular, so much so that it is broadly considered Staffordshire's biggest and best Farmers' Market.
Normally held in the Market Square and the High Street, it is very well attended with around 30 stalls available. Most of the goods are locally produced within a 30 mile radius. The Farmers and Traders stand in all weather, come rain or shine and are very proud of what they have on sale.
Goods include:- bread and cakes, oatcakes, plants, flowers, wines, jams, preserves, fresh meat, sausages, bacon, black pudding, chicken, fresh eggs, savoury eggs, fish, pastries, jewellery, craft stalls and many more items too numerous to mention.
Traders begin to set up their stalls from as early as 7.30am with the majority being open for trading from 9am - they close at around 3pm or when they have nothing left to sell (which happens quite a lot as their produce is very popular).
