St George’s Day Reenactment

St. George’s Day festivities are back in Stone!

St George’s Day Reenactment

Stone High Street will be bustling with excitement as Saint George leads the parade from the town council’s offices on Station Road (opposite the side of Wetherspoons) at 12:00pm, with children encouraged to come along and participate.

Upon arriving in Stone’s Market Square, the Black Knights will challenge Saint George and his troops in a spectacle that will have the crowd cheering on.

Delve into the history of medieval weaponry with a hands-on experience led by the knights themselves, who will be available to talk about their equipment.

Children can join in the fun by dressing up in their best knight, damsel or dragon costume for a chance to win a prize in the fancy dress competition.
