Halloween Street Party
After a summer break, the Stafford Music and Food Festival returns on Friday 31 October with a Halloween Street Party from 4.00pm to 9.00pm in Stafford Market Square.
This popular community event offers an evening of entertainment and activities for all ages including free face painting and bouncy castle with no admission fee to the event, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy.
The event will feature a packed programme of live performances, showcasing local talent. Taking to the stage will be Dappa Dance, Ken Walker, Sundance School of Dance, Happy Vibes and.The Blonnettes who will cover all of your favourite club and dance classics, the live performances giving visitors plenty of entertainment throughout the evening.
Market Street will host a selection of craft stalls with a spooky theme, perfect for picking up unique gifts or seasonal treats. A fancy dress competition will take place, encouraging visitors to come dressed in their best spooky or creative costumes for the chance to win prizes.
The Halloween Street Party will also include a wide range of street food vendors, mobile bars and late-night shopping, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. The event supports local pubs, which play a key role in the festival. Ye Olde Rose and Crown, The Doghouse, The Bear Stafford, The Lamb, The Coach and Horses, The Grapes, The Market Vaults, The Shrewsbury Arms and The Pickled Pig will all welcome festival-goers, allowing them to bring street food inside with the purchase of a drink.
For families, extended opening hours will be in place at The Empourium, The Lamb, Vine Hotel and Pub, and The Market Vaults, providing safe and welcoming spaces to enjoy the evening.
