80th Anniversary of VE Day
VE Day, a pivotal moment in world history, signifies the formal acceptance by the Allies of Germany's unconditional surrender in 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe. It is a day of remembrance, gratitude and celebration of peace.
The event in Stafford will feature cultural displays, live performances and participation from local businesses with exhibition stands and demonstrations.
The Armed Forces will be present to honour the sacrifices of those who served during the war.
