We’re a family-fun, independent Staffordshire café open six days a week.

Come in and enjoy all of the finer things with a colourful variety of over twenty different types of loose-leaf teas by our very own brand The Tea Bees, locally roasted coffee, and a wide cake selection and savoury items on a growing menu.

We also serve iced coffee. Grab a bite on the side with our unique sweet treats like our exquisite cinnamon classic bun.

The Story of a Family Passionate About Tea...

After our grandmothers passing in February 2020 we knew we wanted to begin something in her memory, something she would have loved herself and something that meant a great deal to us.

From a very young age Yasmine, 20, one of the founders of Mary’s had a real passion for loose leaf tea.

Nanny Mary loved all things natural and ethical, Yasmine and Esther, her mother and Mary’s daughter began ‘The Tea Bees’ a loose leaf tea company whose main focus is ethical, 100% natural great tasting tea. We began working with experienced tea masters based in the UK to blend our unique and beneficial flavour’s to which our customers loved.

We decided we needed somewhere to sell and blend our teas, somewhere personable, local and with a community feel. After visiting Bishton Hall when it was St Bede’s school to play sports against them when Yasmine and her brother Harvey were young, it was a familiar place.

After looking around for a while we had decided Bishton Hall was just the place for Mary’s Tearoom, it only seemed fitting to name our place after our grandmother, bringing in all she loved to the space we had, baking, flowers, a relaxing atmosphere and great tea!
